This alcohol refractometer with automatic temperature compensation (ATC) is specifically designed to measure alcohol content in liquids.

For beer, wine and other alcoholic beverages, this refractometer measures wort sugars in the liquid and shows the corresponding percentage of alcohol. Use readings to get wort sugars and help determine finished alcohol readings (for beer and wine, use in conjunction with a hydrometer both before and after fermentation or distillation). The need to consult temperature correction charts is eliminated with the built-in 10-30°C ATC. The unit also comes with a manual calibration knob that is secured with a lock nut, and has a brighter display than the more narrow range refractometers.
